Login Problems

I modified the login block to display a the login form instead of a ling to the login form by commenting/uncommenting the appropriate lines in Block_render_login.class . ( This login form is generated using loginblock.tpl) Now the problem is the when enter the username n password , the login page ( generated using loginformCR.tpl) is displayed. Here I don't need to enter the username password...just hit enter/refresh and I'm taken to the User page. It work fine on first try , such as when I restart the browser but on subsequent tries it causes a problem. How do I avoid the extra login being displayed?
