Error: 1044 SQLSTATE: 42000 (ER_DBACCESS_DENIED_ERROR) Message: Access denied for 
user '%s'@'%s' to database '%s'

So I guess check your DB_ settings in config.ini.php.

You can see the extended mysql error code by turning on debugging info in 
config.ini.php as well. Set to true:
