You didn't do anything wrong.  They are php warnings that krept back in 
evidently.

Either set error_reporting to E_ALL~E_NOTICE in your php.ini and restart 
the webserver.  You can also do this in a .htaccess file.

Or you can add this line to config.php:

ini_set('error_reporting', 'E_ALL~E_NOTICE');

It is curious though.  It was developed with E_ALL on which would show 
these.

Did you install the example data?  Did you install using the install 
wizard ( install_setup.php)?
