I need some guidance on some terminology and best methods. I want to use the "story" module as the base of a new module to handle data stored in mysql of a different schema. So I was wondering: 1) Whats the best method for creating a new module with the base being "story" - or am I looking at the right place to begin? 2) Most of the SQL querries for stories appears to be in "include/modules/story/ - is the index.php the main include for any module? 3) Is their any already existing documentation for creating a module? Will I need a new "section" as well?
