[Tiki-devel] Blog / Articles made with Trackers?

Hello Devs,

I am always remembering Jonny's idea to use the Tracker feature to 
create articles and or blogs.

Currently I am planning a new website and I am considering to use 
trackers instead of blogs or articles.

My concerns are the following:

1. How to get a "next / previous" functionality (similar as with the 
Blogs feature)?

2. How to get a "translation of" functionality? Translated version of 
tracker-articles should not be shown as next articles, but as language 
alternatives, replacing if existing (similar as with the Articles feature).

3. If I use a multilingual tracker, I will have many empty language 
fields per tracker field - one for each language. I find this not very 
convenient from the point of usability. I think it should be possible to 
show/hide translated or non translated fields.

4. I think we have a configuration to show tracker items only in page 
view (for non-admins).

Is there any experience, respectively is there anybody who already uses 
Trackers instead of Articles or Blogs and has solved the above issues or 
could help voluntarily? Maybe some pointers or example templates?

I am not sure if I can get there alone (at least in a short period to 
quick release).

Any hint is appreciated.
I need to deside, wether I go for Trackers for this website or if I 
start with Articles or with Blogs and work it out with Trackers later 
for this or another project. I am unsure about the amount of work and 
time to get there.
