If I understand correctly you have issue using setup.sh (composer upgrade) with several php versions installed on your server.

I have such issue (PHP8 - default, PHP7.4 and PHP7.2 installed) and I use the path parameter that allow you to point to the PHP you want to use with setup.sh

Of course I’d like a more practical and setup.sh being able to find its way to the right PHP alone. ;-)
