Hi Gary Are you sure? I'm checking on 23.x but it's probably the same in 22.x... I have wiki_edit_plugin=n and wiki_edit_icons_toggle=n and i see no plugin edit icons... ah, except for the include plugin There seems to be a new arrow-y icon that brings up a "replace include plugin" dialog (which seems to default to enabled), and there's the icon to edit the page, these should check the pref i reckon... Ok, i made the default for both icons use the wiki_edit_plugin pref so you can still override that by setting with param to y or n, but mostly they will follow the preference (714952ce in 23.x) Hope that's what was expected :p jonny > On 15 Jul 2021, at 05:58, Gary Cunningham-Lee <[email protected]> wrote: > > Hi, > > Why does this action: > > • Preference wiki edit plugin disabled (Preference name: wiki_edit_plugin) > • Preference wiki edit icons toggle disabled (Preference name: wiki_edit_icons_toggle) > cause plugin edit icons (PluginInclude in this case) to *appear* on wiki pages? It seems to me that if you are disabling plugin editing, plugin-edit icons should not display on the page, or am I misunderstanding something? > > Is this the designed behavior? Before I made the above preference changes, the icons *weren't* displaying, so the behavior seems to be the opposite of what is expected, to me.
