Ah, that's easy but unfortunately, I don't see a documentation about it, 
maybe you can add one :)

Math formula to get the user: (preg-replace (str /^.*?\|/) (str ) 
fieldMonthAndUser)

Math formula to get the month: (preg-replace (str /\|.*$/) (str ) 
fieldMonthAndUser)
