Fair question, presumably files should have view and upload events too - the action log is generally a mess and needs some significant work (like usable searching for a start!) so this could be tidied up at the same time, thanks.

Interesting, i guess those should definitely be removed for new installs (i'm on it**) but should they be kept for legacy data? Image Galleries were deprecated for many years but we still used them on tiki.org sites until quite recently - are action log events on removed features any use to anyone? I doubt it so +1 for removal.

Indeed - but as i said at the top, the whole feature needs a revamp, and should be tied to the events system...
