Hello, I never paid attention to that one… At tiki-admin.php?page=textarea I see an option to "Use file galleries to store images” And the tooltip says: "If not enabled, images will be stored in the file system, in the /img/wiki_up directory, instead.” It is placed on the top of the page, second option of the first section (Features). (See below) I try to understand the purpose of such “override” over the the usual “Storage” option we have at tiki-admin.php?page=fgal (I understand that technically, what you upload using a plugin will be stored in /img/wiki_up)… may be ? I remember, during the long directory discussion questions about the /img/wiki_up directory. Shortening… 1/ Is this option still relevant or should we remove it ? 2/ If we keep it is this option THAT important we put it on the top of the list of the options we have there ? (may be it is just historical reason) There are much more important/popular settings and with so many options and complexity we should help users to find relevant/popular options before others less commonly used. Orders matters for UX. Have a nice day, Bernard PS: Don’t forget we have a TRM in a few days : https://tiki.org/Roundtable-Meeting-2021-12 _______________________________________________ TikiWiki-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/tikiwiki-devel
