[Tiki-devel] Running Composer, setup.sh, on Windows

My Web-Hosting service is ending support for PHP 7.4 on 14th November,
meaning that I have to update to PHP 8.1.

Since Tiki 25 has not been released yet, I wanted to try using the
current version from the Git repository. And since I am not really a
Linux User, I wanted to try it on Windows using XAMPP.

I am currently stuck a screen with the message

Tiki Installer missing third party software files

Your Tiki is not completely installed because Composer has not been
run to fetch package dependencies.

You need to run *sh setup.sh* from the command line.

     See https://doc.tiki.org/Composer <https://doc.tiki.org/Composer>
for details.

This seems like something I have to do on Linux.

I have tried to do it on a linux shell in Windows (WSL) but I haven't
managed to get that to work, and I don't feel like I am on a path to
success.

Is there a way to install the third party files under Windows?

Or (maybe better for me), is there a pre-release installation of Tiki 25
which I could use?

Phil
