Hello, I’m tangled between reporting a bug or possible wrong default settings after installation. Using multilingual, when I change the site language using the Switch Language module I should… switch the site to the selected language. So the HTML lang tag should reflect this choice. IE : <html id="page_1" lang=“fr”> for French. But on Tiki25, if a page property language is set to English, this HTML tag won’t be changed. I believe it was not working like this in other Tiki versions... That is very annoying and confusing. Now in a Tiki with language set as French (or hebrew in the screenshot) the HTML tag will keep being English. (css language rules will be cancelled for exemple) I don’t think this is the right default behaviour. We need to consider that pages are created by default in English in Tiki (during the installation or using a profile) and non power users will be very confused as the they are switching their site to a language BUT it won’t work even if displayed as done. (See the screenshot) It means that users now have to change a verify ALL their existing pages language and changed them to avoid this issue. 😳 Now I also checked the I18 preference and we have a "Synchronize page and site language” and it states: "Changing the page language also changes the site language”. It is unset by default but it is also not needed because it is already what is happening and we don’t have an option to set the other way around. What people think, Bug/Regression or Settings issue ?
