[Tiki-devel] Search, Exclude all plugins preference

Hello Devs, I visited a big Tiki24 where the operation to rebuild index was working fine till recently. I worked especially on it previously to fix any index errors I could found so I knew what to expected. For some reason, the admin uncheck the Search, "Exclude all plugins” preference at tiki-admin.php?page=search And it broke the automatic rebuild-index process ending with a timeout. I use the command php console.php i:r -p —log to check and I see changes in orders of things (now the user is indexed first) and many new errors coming in from different part of the Tiki (related to plugin I guess) It look to me like a pretty dangerous preference in modern Tiki where a LOT rely on the index. I’m totally ignorant about the how and why of this preference (never touched it before) But, If it is unusable, do we need to keep it ? If it broken, should it be fixed ? If it is a critical setting should it be displayed accordingly ? (Warning notice, hidden as experimental, subject to admin password, whatever).
