Hi, I just tried a little test. I added PHP 8.3.3 to my Laragon WAMP (https://laragon.org/ -- highly recommended) and switched to it, and Tiki seems to be running normally. This test is in master branch and all I've done is display and edit wiki pages, but there have been no errors or glitches. When I restarted the server, there were a couple of messages saying "httpd.exe - Entry Point Not Found" regarding php_curl.dll, but nothing else unusual. -- Gary On 2/29/2024 2:56 AM, Marc Laporte wrote: > Hi! > > PHP 8.3 was released in November 2023: > https://www.php.net/releases/8.3/en.php > > We are very focused on Smarty 5 in Tiki master: > https://github.com/smarty-php/smarty/discussions/920 > > We'll soon branch 27x from master, to release 27.0 four to six weeks > later. > > As of now, Tiki27 is planned to support PHP 8.1 and 8.2, and it's > "probably OK in PHP 8.3 as well": Ref.: > https://doc.tiki.org/Requirements > > We'll soon switch these sites to PHP 8.3 to test: > * https://trunkdev.tiki.org > * https://trunkdoc.tiki.org > * https://trunkthemes.tiki.org > * https://trunkprofiles.tiki.org > > Does anyone have any experience (good or bad) with running Tiki 26x or > master on PHP 8.3? > > Thanks! > > Marc > > > > > _______________________________________________ > TikiWiki-devel mailing list > [email protected] > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/tikiwiki-devel
