Hi Community, I would like to open a discussion regarding the potential replacement of the jquery-timeago library currently used in Tiki to display relative timestamps. I propose replacing jquery-timeago with *timeago.js <https://github.com/hustcc/timeago.js>*, a lightweight, dependency-free JavaScript library that offers similar "time ago" functionality. *timeago.js* is Smaller and faster and does not have jQuery dependency. Although *moment.js <https://momentjs.com/>* could technically replace jquery-timeago, I recommend against this. While Tiki already uses moment.js, it is in maintenance mode, and its developers recommend alternatives for new projects. Furthermore, if Tiki decides to replace *moment.js* with *Day.js <http://github.com/iamkun/dayjs>* or *Luxon <http://github.com/moment/luxon>* in the future, these libraries could also handle relative timestamp formatting, potentially replacing *timeago.js*. Looking forward to your feedback!
