[Tiki-devel] FOSDEM 2026 Collaboration Devroom Call for participation (Brussels, jan 31 - feb 1 2026)

Hi folks,

Free Open-Source developpers Meeting (Fosdem: https://fosdem.org ) is being organised again! There will not be "hybrid" devrooms, everything will be in person.
Our friends from like-minded open source projects reached out to us for a joint devroom.
We should talk about it next Tiki Roundtable Meeting and I volunteer for liaison between the Tiki community and the other projects. I've done it before, they are cool people :-)
I'll tell them we support the devroom as we did in previous years.

Who wants to make a talk about Tiki or suggest an interesting topic?
Right now, we are still at the call for devrooms stage but there is little point if we don't submit talks. FOSDeM 2026 will take place Saturday 31th January and Sunday 1st February 2025 in Brussels, Belgium. I assume the Call for topics will happen from beginning november to end of November. Start thinking about it :-)

Talks are recorded and put online seemingly forever. So that's great exposure :-)

Let's set up https://tiki.org/TikiFestFosdem2026 and keep it up to date on all related news.

I expect to attend FOSDEM 2026 and hopefully we can have a TikiFest before or after that.

On an unrelated note : We have successfully submitted proposals for stands in the past ( https://fosdem.org/2024/news/2023-09-18-stands-cfp/ ). From past experience, for successfully manning a stand we would need
 6 people or more from the Tiki community. Also, we used to participate in a joint Tiki/Xwiki/DokuWiki stand but Xwiki will probably focus on a different stand (Cryptpad). This is why we did not have a stand since 2020. If someone wants this stand to happen, please volunteer!
