thanks for Your answer.

I know the page about "Plugin map" You mentioned, but unfortunately I
have some missing links with the content. There are examples with
"searchlayer" and there are trackers mentioned. But I don't know how to
put this together. How are the trackers to be configured?

I think cartograph is a little bit oversize for my purpose.
