Hello folks, recently I have heard some noise regarding translations, but in general I feel it has become quite silent. I have no idea, where we are regarding translations of Tiki in several languages and I feel a bit anxious, that we lose here. I have been translating with Transifex quite a bit, a while ago, but I learned that some of the translations I made got lost due to fiddling with the processes. And I do not know, who is currently in charge of the Transifex main account with the ability and ongoing control, wether translations get merged to the core Tiki code etcetera. Is Transifex the tool we are using and how it is made sure, that translation that are made for one language and for one Tiki version are kept and merged to the next version? Shouldn't we take translation and Transifex as a major topic on top of one of the next Roundtable meetings? Or is somebody in charge who can give people like me enough enlightenment to trust in the process and be motivated again to contribute translations ever so often. There was a time, when I made translations whenever I was feeling lazy and did not know what to do with the next hour. Today I rather watch a Netflix movie. I'd like to get at least the German translation up near 100% for Tiki 18 or 19 and help to keep up. With SVN/GIT editing the files directly I could do some work easy, but i fear conflicting with transifex and I am not sure - as said, which version to contribute best to get things up to the next versions without doing the same for ervery single version again and again. Help please!
