Now, the last, most important issue is ability to create Tiki content - mostly
blog posts and articles - offline. I simply cannot envision to create
everything online with browser-based editors. That's what I already have with
e.g. Textpattern CMS where I even can use Textile/Markdown formats or
simply using Nikola which does support plethora of input markup formats.

So, the question is whether on the day when Tiki is going to have support for
Markdown (CommonMark | Extra) will it be possible to smoothly write content
offline and then get it into Tiki, either via simple copy & paste or via some
other mechanism?

(for me) Everything else is there in Tiki - I prefer its monolithic design over
CMS-es with plugins and already gave up on idea to use Grav CMS, so decision
has to be made whether to stay/move (one site is still in Textpattern) with/to
Nikola static site generator and plumb it with 3rd party apps to cover missing
features (comments, search, forms, calendars...) or to move everything to Tiki?
