Or even better: use an even more refined permission system to share a given notification-subscription, for example sharing it only with certain groups. If such an option would be added, that would be great. > > And thanks for the links below - I will investigate them! My thought also. However, I thought it might be useful under certain conditions. eg. Only admins can see it, or the maintainer can see it. etc. I have also seen this feature in “Family Search” the collaborative genealogy platform I use. The way they handle it is that they “warn” you that X number of people are watching this page. It's not hard to guess who they are by looking at the commit history. In any case, it could be a good optional feature for admins or maintainers to use. And perhaps an optional integration of how many people will be notified of a change would be useful without giving privacy away. This would be very useful. Currently, I often do not know whether I have to send a manual notification to people I want to read the updates. (It is undoable to memorise who is subscribed to receive notifications from what page.) >>> >> >> >> _______________________________________________ >> TikiWiki-users mailing list >> [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> >> https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/tikiwiki-users <https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/tikiwiki-users> >> > _______________________________________________ > TikiWiki-users mailing list > [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/tikiwiki-users <https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/tikiwiki-users> _______________________________________________ TikiWiki-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/tikiwiki-users
