Trackers Item Link Prefiltering Feature

Hi Bernard,

I've tried following your suggestion, however I'm stuck since I cannot
use Item Link Pre-filtering feature. If that feature would work,
everything would be perfect.

Returning to Mario And Luigi Example, let's say I have the following table:

_Machines Sold_
- *Customer* (Item Link To Customers Table)
- *Machine Type* (Item Link To Machine Types Table)
- *Machine Serial Number* (Text Field)

And then this other one:

_Tickets
_- *Customer* (Item Link To Customers Table)_
_- *Machine Type & Serial Number* (Item Link to Machines Sold displaying
both *Machine Type* And *Machine Serial Number*, prefiltered on *Customer*)

Now, if this would work, it would be perfect. However the Item
Link***Machine Type & Serial Number*//always list /all /the values in
Machines Sold, and prefiltering seems not to be working.

I've set-up the *Machine Type & Serial Number *Item Link field in the
following way:

- Tracker ID = Machines Sold
- Field ID = Machine Serial Number
- Dispay = Value
- Multiple Field = [Machine Type, Machine Serial Number] are selected
- Multiple Fields display type = Dropdown
- Preselect item based on value in this field = Customer
- Preselect based on the value in this remote field = Customer
- Preselection matching method = Exact Match
...

(all others field have been left to their default value)

Could someone please explain to me what I'm missing? is this not the
intended use for this feature maybe?

Thank you very much

Alessandro
