I've try sand avoid forking any tpls if you can help it, it becomes a maintenance nightmare pretty quickly when the upstream one changes (and i usually don't notice!) but there is another (hacky) way i devised for a client a while back.

  {DIV(class="d-none")}{LIST()}
    {pagination max="1"}
    {OUTPUT()}{display name="mytitle" pagetitle="y"}{OUTPUT}
    {FORMAT(name="mytitle")}This is the page title, not the wiki page title{FORMAT}
