There are a couple of wiki plugins for this, sup and sub - doc.t.o seems to be down currently but it should be at

    http://doc.tiki.org/PluginSub (and Sup)

Syntax is:

    This is regular text{SUB()}and this is subscript text{SUB}

or

    This is regular text{SUP()}and this is superscript{SUP}
