Hi,

If I understand the question correctly, you are asking how to make line
breaks in the wiki editor view but then have the list item display
normally without containing any line breaks. This is a way to do that
using wiki comment tags:

* Here is the first item in the list, and I want to put a line break in
the item in the wiki editor, but . . . ~tc~

~/tc~ not let the line break appear in the rendered list.
* Here is item two of the list.
