It depends what options you have configured....

- Prevent special characters in page names

- Wiki link format (complete, strict, or relaxed)

Additionally, some i18n and namespace settings may also impact the valid 
page names and how they're displayed. The "Page name display stripper" 
and "Page name maximum displayed length" will also impact how page names 
are displayed.
