Thanks, Rick, I'll look into  it. Wonderful to receive an answer from
the man who created the manual to which I referred, so also thanks for 
that manual.
In the meanwhile I also found another method that works well:
Add to the tiki-page of interest:
{HTML(tohead=1)}add css here{HTML}
worked like a charm.
