Hello Volker, I am not sure wether I understand you correctly. You speak about page renaming alters automatically the url respectively the linknames to that page. This applies only to *WikiPageNames* respectively *((**wikipagenames**))* and only when used within wiki links. Relative links like *[whatevertikiobject]* and absolute links like *[https://example.com/sometikiobject]* are both *not* updated. Reson to use relative links: *[***sometikiobject*]* would make it possible to change the domain pointing to your website. Given you run your site with *https://example.com* and for whatever reason you change to *https://newdomain.org*. After the change ... ... *[***https://example.com/sometikiobject*]* will not work anymore and you willbe directed to an error code, likely error 404 ressource not available. but **[***sometikiobject*]** will be directed to ***[********https://newdomain.or*/sometikiobject*]*** in my opinion this is the main reason for relative links. What do other users think?
