Hello devs (adding users in Cc.),
I love the Packages feature and as I am currently installing a few
Tikis, I naturally stumble over this nice and very helpful feature.
There is one aspect which I think could be useful for occassional or new
admins and power users:
Adding a short description to the library names of the table in
packages.tiki.org and aswell a foldable description to the packages
table in a specific Tiki installation.
The description should include a very brief explanation what the
respective library is doing or what is the purpose of installing the
library.
I think it might be obvious to most of us, for what I would need "mPDF",
but do I need "mPDF" and "PDF.js" or only either one of both and why?
How should I guess what "Dexie" or "Expose" is for and why it migh be
very helpful for me?
Should I not touch it if I do not know it, cause of dangerous use, or
should I install it, because it is crucial to Tiki and only due to
licence issues in Packages?
What is the difference between FullCalendarScheduler and
FullCalendarSchedulerDeprecated, which are both in trunk. ...
Ok, I can find it out when I research and I should know the features
before I use them.
Anyway I think a brief description directly in the Packages feature and
on the Packages website would be helpul for some of us.
What do you think?
Regards,
Torsten
