Hi

I've installed Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS, and I found that PHP 7.4 is no longer
supported. Only PHP 8.1 is provided in Ubuntu 22.04, but Tiki 24.1 needs PHP
7.4. And it really needs it - it won't work at all with PHP 8.

I tried to install PHP 7.4 from the sources, but that sent my right to
dependency hell. After two days, I unnervedly gave up and restored my 20.04
system from a backup.

If you're thinking about upgrading, like I was: don't do it. Wait for Tiki
25, which is advertised to support PHP 8.1. It's announced to be released in
November, so wait for that.

Cheers,
Volker
