[Tiki-users] Maximum file upload size

Hi

I tried to upload an attachment, but that silently failed. No error message.

When I tried to upload to a file gallery instead, but it also silently
failed. But there was a note at the bottom, saying that the maximum upload
size is "about" 2 MB. That's pretty low.

I searched the Tiki (25) settings for a maximum upload file size, but with
no success. Then it occured to me, that this might be a PHP limit. And yes,
I found the setting "upload_max_filesize" in /etc/php/7.4/apache2/php.ini,
which was 2 MB.

I changed that to a gigabyte (I use Tiki as a desktop wiki here). But then
the maximum upload size was shown to be 8 MB. No more.

Then I found the post_max_size PHP-setting, and set that to 1 GB. Then the
maximum upload size was shown to be 38 MB. No more. I couldn't find another
PHP setting, which causes this.

Is there such a PHP or Tiki setting, which sets the limit to 38 MB?

And, I think a failed upload, caused by an exceeded maximum file size,
should result in a proper error message.
