I don't know if my requests are more a kind of big wishes.... However, 
here they are, written down quickly, after a brainstorm with me, myself 
and I. ;-)
I hope you can use them as an input for the roadmap.

- Separation of the following modules
     - Editing Contents
     - Administration of publication(s)
     - Administration of users
     - Publishing

- Scheduler
     - may be used on a group of files (e.g. a whole chapter, a section)
     - may be set to be a single event or a recurring one

- Separation of Apps
     - Wyona may be downloaded without cocoon

- enhance workflow
     - a publication has to go trough different stages (editor, reviewer 
et cetera)
       before publication
     - provide user with interface about his open tasks
     - add notification of users by mail
     - add escalation if some task-criteria isn't met (e.g review
        isn't done till date given)

- improved editing capabilities
     - enable creation and editing of content with OpenOffice Write
       (for longer and more complex documents)
     - annotations to a chapter / paragraph / article

- content management
     - enhanced revisioning and versioning (show the differences)
     - enable the branching of a document
     - enhanced capturing of meta-information (and not to be
       published information) about a document
    - focus on other publication formats (not webbased ones)
    - enhanced integration of Lucene
    - enhanced ordering and selection of contents (e.g. a user can 
generate
      his own view(s) on the content).

- publication
     - portalfunctionality (user and group based visibility / access to 
documents)
     - publishing in other formats than HTML
