1)
I don't understand the following sentence:
You should be able to switch the CMS at any time.

What should that mean?

Should lenya become a framework for CMS?

2)
Speaking about multi-tier architecture:
I know there are only 3 architecures:
1 tier
2 tier
3 tier -> this I guess is the "multi-tier architecture"
Front-end <--> middle tier <--> backend

... but if you change this, the following doesn't make sense:
Xopus <--> Lenya <--> Cocoon <--> Slide <-->  Xindice

then it should be something like:
Frontend (Xopus, Mozilla)
middle tier (lenya, cocoon, slide)
backend (Xindice)

...or did I miss the point?

3)
Deployment <--> there are only "projects" from Wyona.com, or not? 
Is that good or bad?

4)
Reliance on Salaried Developers: 
While the most part of developement activities originates from Wyona AG, there are also external contributors. The aim is thus to strenghten and diversify the developer base. 

...how you want to achieve that? <--> I guess that is what the people from ASF will be interested in!
