the road to lenya

dear lenya community,

i commited some changes today that mark the transition from the wyona to the
lenya
codebase.

a backup of the old tree was made, and securely stashed away. you can access
the new
tree (with intact history) in the lenya module. your best bet would be to
check out
a fresh tree, with the module set to lenya.

we took the opportunity to make the directory structure more uniform, and
simplify
it. almost every file in cvs was touched, so expect some breakage the next
few days
while we stabilize the tree again.

the new structure is hopefully much easier to understand. the renaming and
consolidating
revealed a lot of scope for sitemap optimizations (which we will undertake
under the guidance
of the cocoon community once we move the codebase to apache). overall, we
were
able to undo some of the subtle differences between publications that
previously hindered
consolidation of URI schemes in the root sitemap.

as soon as the dust settles a bit more, we will explain the new structure.

we will change the download instructions, cvs instructions etc in the coming
days.
