Lucene and pdf integration

I just noticed that Steve Noels is trying to integrate Lucene into
Forrest and he wants to index the PDF files. He is planning on using
http://www.pdfbox.org/ a Java PDF Library that allows access to all of
the components in a PDF document.

Did you intergrate the pdf indexing into the Lucene stuff you added to
Lenya? What pdf extraction mechanism were you using? Should we aim to
use the same one as the Forrest guys?
