Re: OSCOM 2002 Berkeley

OSCOM at Berkeley was great.

Well, I won't go into details, because I think Gregor
will write a wrapup, and as soon as I receive it I will forward it to 
this list.

We will quite probably organize the next conference at Harvard 
University (Cambridge/Boston) by the end of March 2003.

What I really learned is that I want to get rid of this "religion thing" 
   and cross boundaries. The problem is where do I get the time from to 
dive into Python/Zope, PHP/PostNuke/Xoops, etc.???

(Maybe we could do a company where we hire people from the various
projects/languages and let them work together on common customer 
projects. This is actually the same as we do within the members of 
OSCOM, which means each CMS project is doing some parts of the website 
where each others strengths are. The problem is that it is all voluntary
and the progress is a bit slow, at least at the moment.)


Another problem is to find out what is better for innovation:
Competition or Collaboration?

Well, both of them certainly sparkle innovation, but what about
the term "Competitive collaboration"? Does this term make sense?
