I very much agree that such kind of documentation is really necessary.
I already tried to use wyona some time ago. I relaized that i first had to
learn XML/XSLT and cocoon. This knowledge is certainly a necessary
prerequisite for using wyona. With a bit more knowledgtin XML/XSLT and
cocoon I will try to use wyona and a documentation as described above
will certainly be helpful. However I miss at least one thing: the
structure of the website. I suppose that even a "simple" Hello World site
should have a distinct structure (this will help if you have to build a more
sophisticated website): Therefore

2) Create the appropriate structure .........

I am not sure whether this is to complex. You shout get and idea about
XML/XSLT and cocoon independent from wyona anyway.

I propose that somebody, who is already familiar with wyona, write this
Hello World Page. Less expierenced people like me can help (depending on
the existing knowledge) to write and/or test and improve the
documentation. However, i think it is important that some expierienced
wyona user should coordinate the necessary steps:

1.) Write the HelloWorld wyona page
2.) Write a first draft of the tutorial (different people?)
3.) Test the tutorial (newbies and others?)
4.) Improve the tutorial accorind the results of the testing.
5.) .................

Best regards
