Well, the publication

Slides: Open Source Content Management Conference

is using the FOPSerializer for the Printer Friendly version.

The reason we took it out of the "ROOT" sitemap was that Cocoon
is starting up without an X-Server running (I thought people might have
troubles with it). But actually it's there and you just have to put
stuff into your sitemap.

Concerning the download size we haven't done anything yet, but the beast
is too huge and I definitely think we should consider different
versions, such as a minimal version, etc.

I agree PDF is certainly a major selling point and I hope we will have
some nice examples for the future, for instance within the "New Wyona
Times" publication, where we could generate articles in PDF with
multiple columns and the main-title and lead/abstract across the
columns, etc.

Exactly

Well, you do ;-)
