There's an entry in the todo-list
(http://xml.apache.org/cocoon/todo.html):

"[code] For 2.1: Implement the smart-caching for the processing
pipeline and iron out bugs."

I'm not sure if "smart-caching" includes tracking the
xsl:include modifications, but it should. Right?
