Hi Thorsten, hi list,
your output looks promising, indeed. I already sent you my first
comments separatly. Other things I saw, as I took a look at the
document mentioned above
- spilt the document and the sitemap in different parts. It's better
to take small steps, than to puit an overload on the users mind....
My idea:
step 1: - create the html-document
- create the sitemap
- test step 1
step 2: - create the xml-document
- create the xsl-document
- update the sitemap
- test step 2
step 3: - create the xsl-document
- update the sitemap
- test step 3
- actually there isn't much of wyona's capabilities involved (that's
intended!) except
for step 5 of your how-to. Therefore I would stress out, that these how-tos
are a good starting point to get a feeling of working with cocoon
(which is also
used as publishing framework by wyona)

did you take a look at <http://xml.apache.org/forrest/dtd-docs.html>?
There is a DTD for howto
<http://xml.apache.org/forrest/howto-v10.dtdx.html> (still envolving)
on the other hand the DTD you used is outdated. (see
<http://xml.apache.org/forrest/document-v11.dtdx.html>); your's seams
the same like the one already used by wyona, however the newer one
brings some nice changes. An example:
from:
...
<s1 title="Some Title">
<p>A paragraph.....</p>
</s1>
to:
...
<section>
<title>Some Title</title>
<p>A paragraph....</p>
</section>
...
No big changes, but usefull ones...

This is a great idea. Ideally the editable files would reside on the
wyona-server. I wanted to figure out what it takes to be able to
publish the wyona files trough the forrest-func an to keep the look &
feel of wyona. Unfortunatly, time flew too fast, and lot of other
things happend within the last days. I keep you posted about the
results.
