That's really easy to answer... Slashdot.org is a site implemented with the 
program "Slashcode".
It is supported through Slashcode.com

I don't think that Michael is proposing to copy *exactly* Slashcode or 
PHPNuke - just do a similar application.

I personally would be quite happy to move to a better system than Slashcode 
- but non exists yet and I don't
think the Wyona dev team can build one in the timescales involved. I would 
be quite happy with a demo application
so I can see the features of Wyona, and see how to use it. The existing 
demos don't help very much.

Yeah - PHP is gaining respect in my book simply because there are so many 
working systems using it.

This is an interesting point and very very important. I have been trying 
out XIndice with Cocoon and quite like it
BUT it isn't very efficient. I will talk more about this in a new email. It 
is not good to change subject in the middle of an email.
