I'm not sure I understand. I'm talking about xsl stylesheets that
transform from OpenOffice xml to plain html. I like the stylesheets
very much but I thought they were written by Philipp von Weitershausen
(http://www.philikon.de/), at least that's what it says in the xsl.

I would like to know the original author because we have already
applied some patches to it and would like to contribute them back.

Basically the document is not changed on the server at the moment, so
at any later time you can simply open it again (in OpenOffice) from
your webfolder which mounts the document via WebDAV, edit and save
again. The changes will show up in the html document immediately (ATM
this doesn't work because the jar: protocol reader is doing some
caching which we haven't found out how to disable it).

But if you want to do full round trip i.e. edit in OpenOffice and also
with some inline editor through the browser the story will be a little
bit more complicated. It might work if your inline editor can do xml
WYSIWYG editing (e.g. Bitflux or Xopus Editors). Maybe they could edit
a subset of the xml contained in the OpenOffice document.

As long as OpenOffice remains be the native format of the documents
the round trip is possible. I just don't quite see what your inline
editor will allow you to do since it will never have the power of OO
to edit charts, drawings, etc.
