Dear Dracos Thank you for extending the time period and posting on the website about this election as was mine and other's suggestion. However one of the main concerns i had is still not addressed - perhaps you have no intention of addressing it but without it, the election is imho still not fair. The requirement that people be subscribed to the xaraya_devel list at the time of the election commencing (21 dec) restricts those that can nominate and vote. Even long term contributors such as Baraboom, and new comers doing some module commits such as Chris Powis cannot nominate, or vote according to these rules. Please consider my proposal to include all persons that have contributed to Xaraya - translators, documentors, themers, users creating websites with Xaraya, support persons answering support questions in irc or on the webstie and so on. We need new blood and any of these persons should be allowed to nominate or vote. Their qualifications can be judged by the voters from their election platform post. If we need a new, simple, and open process, that is fair and legitimate, then Ryan has also volunteered to put together a process and monitor it - see the other posts.
