Re: 2009 Xaraya PMC election Revisions

I made a suggestion in IRC, regarding the election announcement.

Right now, there is a post on the web as well. However the old rules and
dates are posted up first. As soon as someone reads that, they might
turn off believing they are no longer eligible to nominate or vote.

Would it not be clearer if you made, or someone else if you dont' want
to - make a newly titled, clear posting with the dates and rules. The
new title would indicate clearly that rules have changed and dates to
ensure everyone knows the latest on the election.

This will make sure anyone who has already read the announcement will
read the new one and be aware of the new dates and rules. Most people
will not bother to sift through all the posts here to be clear on what
those rules are.

It might be goo also to not even start the election until at least a
week or so is passed after the initial announcement.
