http://bugs.xaraya.com/show_bug.cgi?id=6343 ------- Comment #1 from [email protected] 2009-03-05 09:41 GMT ------- This is a nasty one. In general the use of the timestamp throughout the system is best, but will exclude these early dates. Saving dates in a formatted way will make compatibility with all different databases hard, as they all have different ways to store datetime. In general, the best overall solution would be to have core provide a 'datetime' function, and have that function probably store in timestamp with a negative value as the possibility, or store as text (will provide for a lot of calculation errors). -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.xaraya.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ---- ** IMPORTANT ** READ BELOW ** ---- [Clip Me Start] -------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you wish, you can reply to this message directly **however**, make sure to use the "Reply To All" feature of your client **and** ensure that the bug specifier is in the subject (ie: [Bug ####]).
