[Bug 6367] does not work if code length set to less than 6

Posting here - but won't make a habit as it's time consuming -  as i've found i
can replicate this and the solution. 

I can only replicate this if i use old template overrides. If i use the the
updated templates with the modules it works fine as intended. You can test on
http://demo.xarigami.com where i've set the captch to show for anon and logged
in users with a length of 5 characters.

If you have got a use case where I can repeat the problem, please let me know
so i can follow up further. Thanks.
