PostNuke Dev QUestion

I know, I know this is Xaraya, but i figure there's people out there that 
know the answer, and PostNuke.com is down.  

I'm working on a module for someone, it's actually an enhancement of the 
groups module, that has resulted in a total re-write of the module.  Do I 
need to include group_membership in my pntables.php file to access it with 
the module, or is there another way to access it?  I know it don't need to 
initialize it, because it's there and I'm not making changes to the table.
