There might be surprise in the future though, the source code is out 
there now and unavoidably people *will* be confronted with it some way 
or the other. MS has now the advantages of both the source being looked 
at by more people and generating revenues by their proprietary model.
It's easy to trust on the curiosity of people, no matter how illegal it 
is, people *will* look at the code.
The community has always surprised me with innovative ways to do certain 
things (as has MS by the way, albeit in a different area).

I'm looking forward to an anonymous posting of a patch against that 
leaded sourcecode. I bet if the patches are good they will not be 
followed with legal action.
