I write code with bugs.

with perfect timing
midnight commander locks up
before I can save.

why must i use it?
it reminds me of dos shell
and days of youth gone.

write code and bug fix,

cat jumps on keyboard,
coffee spilled, children crying,
work put off again.

solitude! silence!
the bathroom is my kingdom,
my tidy bowl throne.

back in the code grind,
putting ideas to paper,
