I think I messed up by Apache/PHP install...

...and need to get it working again. So far as I can see, the PHP4 module is
not loading, but I don't know why. I have tried enabling all the Apache log
files (debug level) and can't see any errors anywhere. Any ideas?

When I try to run a PHP page through a browser, it just downloads the file
instead of executing it on the server. There are PHP directives in my
httpd.conf, that used to work, but now give a syntax error (disabling those
directives allows the httpd to start, but then PHP does not work).

Basically, I don't know where to look next, as I have no errors to act on.

Any PHP4/Apache experts out there? All I wanted was to enable libcurl
support, and now my server is useless :-(
