Actually there's a comparison between Xoops and some other CMS, namely
Drupal, Mambo and Xaraya, to see which kind of features Xoops might offer
in the future. Although he seems to have missed a few key features here
and there (for Xaraya, and I assume for the others as well), it shows some
interesting insight in the different "world views" of those CMS.

And despite the fact that the author found Xaraya somewhat complex, he seems
to have liked the notion of hooks, because he then starts describing how hooks
could be implemented in Xoops. :-)
